Trauma Therapy

Is your past still shaping your present?

  • Maybe a recent trigger or reminder has brought old wounds rushing back when you least expected it.

  • Or perhaps you’ve been holding it all in for years, only to notice it spilling out in anxiety, hypervigilance, or relationship struggles.

  • You may be avoiding certain places, conversations, or even people—just to feel safe.

  • Or simply shutting down, because the weight of it all feels too heavy to carry anymore.

  • Perhaps you’re feeling broken, stuck, or like your story defines who you are.

You’re tired of feeling caught in this cycle:

  • Difficulty trusting others or letting your guard down, even with people you love

  • Avoiding situations or places that remind you of what happened

  • Feeling like your body is always “on alert,” leaving you drained and overwhelmed

trauma therapy can help

It may feel impossible now, but you can feel safe in your body again. You can stop living in constant hypervigilance. You can create relationships built on trust instead of fear. And I can help you get there.

Trauma therapy helps you do three things:

  • Identify how past experiences are still showing up in your body and daily life

  • Gently process and release the pain you’ve been carrying without retraumatizing yourself

  • Learn somatic and nervous system tools to restore safety, so you can move forward feeling grounded and whole

I’ll help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to trauma therapy comes from a place of safety and compassion: reminding you that you are not broken—you’re simply carrying a story that deserves to be healed.

Flashbacks and constant hypervigilance don’t have to be your story.

It’s time to feel safe in your body and in your relationships.

You don’t have to live life feeling broken and on edge.

I want you to know:

I can help you get there.

❓ Common Trauma Therapy Questions

  • Sessions are designed to feel safe and supportive. While we’ll talk through your experiences at your pace, I also use body-based (somatic) approaches and gentle nervous system regulation practices. This means therapy isn’t just “rehashing the past”—we focus on creating safety in the present moment, helping your body and mind believe it’s okay to let go.

  • Healing looks different for everyone. Some clients work with me for several months to learn skills and find relief, while others continue longer-term to process deeper wounds and rebuild a sense of self. We’ll always go at your pace, and you’ll never be pressured to share or “move on” before you’re ready.

  • Trauma therapy can be especially helpful if you’re struggling with anxiety, trust issues, relationship difficulties, or a constant feeling of being “on edge.” It works best if you’re open to exploring both your thoughts and the way your body carries stress. You don’t have to have a specific “big trauma” to benefit—anyone who feels weighed down by past experiences is welcome here.

  • We’ll begin with a consult call where you can share what’s been going on, ask questions, and get a feel for my style. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll book your first session. From there, we’ll create a pace that feels supportive and safe for you.
